History
Cinderella is an established name for a citrus-and-pineapple non-alcoholic mixed drink, but published ingredient ratios vary and a definitive inventor or first recipe date has not been substantiated. A published Difford's Guide version includes Angostura aromatic bitters, which can introduce ethanol. This Mixology house version omits bitters and makes no claim to exactly 0.0% ABV without ingredient-specific evidence.
Mixology View
Shaking the still juices before adding soda provides a brighter, lighter build. Do not borrow an “alcohol-free” label from a bitters-containing reference recipe: our formulation omits bitters, while ingredient-specific trace alcohol remains unverified.
Ingredient note
Packaged juices and grenadine can contain added sugars; check the labels if that matters to you. Some cocktail cherries contain sulphites and may contain pits; check the selected garnish label and remove any pits before serving.
